A new start for LAB-A-PORTER in 2023!
We are excited to announce our grand opening of new warehouse in Chai Wan on 27 December 2022. Representatives from LAB-A-PORTER celebrated the day with full of joy and fun!
It was a beautiful cool day with clear blue sky and plenty of sunshine. Our representatives arrive early busy in preparing the opening ceremony.
The celebration started at 11:00am with a colourful cocktail drink, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony.
We also adopted the Chinese tradition – the roasted pig cutting, to bring luck and fortune to LAB-A-PORTER. Instead of using a meaty piggy as in the tradition, we used “roasted pig cake” instead in bringing more sweetness!
We also brought an opportunity for our representatives to show off their Chinese calligraphy – the Fai Chun challenge. Before the challenge, we all supplied with a set of practicing tool – a calligraphy pen, water and some calligraphy papers which can be reused. After a short practicing session, we were more confident and ready to begin the challenge by using red Fai Chun papers and gold ink!
