Qkine, in collaboration with Felix Buchner, Joshua Thomas & Natalia Rodriguez-Muela from the Rodriguez-Muela Laboratory of the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases, published an application note for the use of animal origin-free BDNF and GDNF neural growth factors in iPSC-derived neuronal cultures.

This collaborative study compares BDNF and GDNF from Qkine and other BDNF and GDNF products in the market on their ability to support the differentiation and maintenance of iPSC-derived motor neurons.
